Maron

Maron was the love interest of Kuririn from Dragon Ball Z. She is an anime-only character that only appears in the Garlic Jr. Saga and the Androids Saga and she didn't appear in the manga. She is first revealed as the girlfriend of Kuririn at the Kame House. She insults Chi-Chi and makes fun of her only to have Chi-Chi attack her. She was attacked by an infected Master Roshi before Bulma and everybody is infected by the Black Water Mist by Garlic Jr. except for Maron and Maron is forced to stay with Korin and Yajirobe while Kuririn, Son Gohan and Piccolo battle Garlic Jr.. After the defeat of Garlic Jr. and everything is restored. Krillin breaks up with Maron after Krillin realizes that she is too good for him. She reveals that she would have agreed to marry if he had asked, but Maron is picked up by a buff man in a sports car and leaves and she is never seen again.

  • Maron bears a resemblance to Bulma with the same cyan hair color, same hairstyle and same body shape.
  • Although Maron is never seen again or mentioned, Kuririn and Android 18 have a young daughter named Marron that is similar to her name. However, Akira Toriyama the creator of the Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z manga mentioned that he wouldn't name Marron after his old flame. Also, she is last referenced in the Majin Buu Saga when Kuririn asks Master Roshi who he would hypothetically fuse with as Roshi responds that he would like to fuse with Maron and Krillin says to Roshi "Bald and Beautiful! So Deadly!"
  • Maron likes to make fun of Chi-Chi by calling her a "jealous old lady" when Chi-Chi tries to attack her.
  • Maron also likes to call Chi-Chi and Bulma "old ladies".
