Hermione Jean Weasley (née Granger) (is one of the main characters from the Harry Potter series. She is the love interest of Ron Weasley. Hermione is a student at Hogwarts and is friends with Harry and Ron.

Although it is never outright said, it seems that Hermione and Ron had crushes on each other throughout the entire series. However, at first, neither of them would admit their feelings for the other. Not even to themselves. However, there have been many hints that their romantic feelings for each other do exist. For instance, in the second book, Ron appears to be jealouse of Hermione's crush on the defense against the dark arts teach, Gilderoy Lockhart. Ron also becomes infuriated, when Hermione goes to the Yule Ball with Victor Krum during the fourth book. In turn, Hermione was a little jealouse of Ron's crush on Fleur Delacour. In their fifth year, Hermione kissed Ron on the cheek before the Quidditch Tournament, to which he reacted by being "puzzled" and touching the spot where she kissed him. In their sixth year, the two get into a huge fight, with Ron jealouse of Hermione's relationship with Cormac McLaggen, and Hermione jealouse of Ron's relationship with Lavender Brown.

However, that summer, Hermione and Ron begin to get very close with each other, and "sort of" together, according to Harry. They danced at Bill and Fleur's wedding, and start acting much nicer to each other. During their hunt for the horcruxes, Harry gave them plently of time to be alone with each other. Ron and comforted Hermione several times by putting his arm around her, and Harry believed that they might have fallen asleep holding hands. Hermione was extremely upset when Ron temporarily left her and Harry, crying often, and she was absolutely furious with him when he returned. It was also revealed, through a vision caused by the locket Horcrux, that one of Ron's deepest fears was that Hermione preferred Harry to him.

The two eventually make up, and during the Battle of Hogwarts, they go to the Chamber of Secrets to get a basilisk fang, the two kiss (although this is only shown in the movie). The two most likely continued their relationship after Voldemort's defeat. In the epilogue of the final chapter of the series, Hermione and Ron are married, and have two kids, Rose, and Hugo.
