Kitsuneko is a female fox and the love interest of Donbe. Donbe used to hide and watch her gardening. In fact, she was interested with a butterfly who was very nice for her.
She appears at the end of the chapter where it interacts with Arale and his friends, after Donbe returns to its normal shape Arale reads a carte that Donbe had written to Kitsuneko, in which he expresses his feelings, in the last scene she is seen along with Donbe in the evening healing their wounds.
- Kitsuneko's name is a portmanteau of the words "kitsune", the Japanese word for fox, and "-ko", a common suffix in Japanese girl's names.
