Polly Parish is the love interest of Dan Merlin from the 1956 musical film, Bundle of Joy. She was portrayed by the late Debbie Reynolds. She is a department store salesgirl until she lost her job. She finds an abandoned baby. Dan first met her and belives that she is the mother of her child. Dan decides to help her out with the baby as the two begin to have romantic feelings. However, the owner of the department store thinks that he might be a grandfather. After taking care of the baby, The two realize that the baby is the son of the owner at the store. In the end, she and Dan began a romantic relationship.
