Shanti is the love interest of Mowgli in Disney's 1967 film "The Jungle Book" and it's 2003 sequel. In the first film, she only appears as an unnamed minor character in the end, while in the sequel, with a name, she appears as the tritagonist. In the first film, she is voiced by Darleen Carr, and Mae Whitman did her voice in the sequel.
Shanti has black hair in a ponytail, brown eyes and a red dot on her forehead. Her clothing includes Golden earrings, a white shirt and a purple skirt and she is always barefoot. When she first met Mowgli and lured him into the village, she wore a strapless pink dress with a red stripe.
