Abusive Partner

Love interests who are violent or domineering towards their suitors. They are often portrayed as villains. The purpose of this category is to help define what constitutes abuse. If you or someone you know is in an abusive relationship, you should seek help and maybe even end the relationship if you can.

The perfect example is the Joker from the Batman series. The Joker is well known to have been abusive towards his henchwoman/lover Harley Quinn.
